Homeopathy

Homeopathy is a gentle, natural system of medicine which has been tried and tested for over 200 years.

The word homoeopathy derives from the Greek 'homoios' which means similar and 'pathos' means suffering. Its fundamental principle is 'treating like with like'. Therefore, if a substance causes a certain set of symptoms in a healthy person, then a sick person displaying a similar set of symptoms can be treated with that substance.

Some 500 million people worldwide use homoeopathy including the British Royal family - the Queen has her own homeopathic physician. Celebrities such as Paul McCartney, David Beckham, Boris Becker, the French football team that won the world cup, Yehudi Gordon (obstetrician), Tina Turner, Cher, Jane Seymour, Cindy Crawford are all supporters of homoeopathy.

Homoeopathy can help with:

Head headaches, migraines, sinusitis, toothache, earache, eye problems.
Digestion constipation, diarrhoea, nausea, heartburn, haemorrhoids.
Muscular-skeletal sprains, strains, injuries, bruises, arthritis, rheumatism, joint problems, gout.
Skin eczema, acne, scarring, prickly heat, insect bites.
Women menstrual problems, menopause, pregnancy, cystitis, breast-feeding problems.
Children teething, bed-wetting, childhood diseases, vaccinations, coughs and colds.
Mental and emotional anxiety, panic attacks, stress, depression, grief, insomnia.
Chronic conditions asthma, high blood pressure, IBS, ME, chronic fatigue, hay fever.

Homeopathy recognises that all symptoms of ill-health are expressions of disharmony within the whole person and that it is the patient who needs treatment, not the disease.

Using the principle that like cures like, the body's natural tendency to heal itself is stimulated by minute doses of medicine. Remedies are safe, do not cause side-effects and are not addictive.
